Homoerotic fantasy art of gay male artist Wayne Howarth

Graduating in 1979, Wayne became a successful Interior Designer, working for clients throughout Great Britain. On abandoning his career he returned to his first love - drawing. His main criteria being homoerotic fantasy art.  Wayne is the son of the celebrated comic book artist Walt Howarth (1928-2008)

I use mainly acrylics and graphite pencil, and occasionally watercolours. I enjoy incorporating mixed media in my work, creating unique homoerotic fantasy art

The art of Michael Leonard (1933-2023), Sadao Hasegawa (1945-1999), and Oliver Frey (1948-2022)-  each one an inspirational gay male artist influenced my drawing style as an artist.  I love to create backgrounds inspired by surface pattern - be it floorcoverings, fabrics, advertising hoardings or decaying buildings
